A milk powder canning project has two connected routes: the powder supply and the empty cans. In this Kenyan application, Dingjiang approached the line as a coordinated production project, with the equipment arrangement and supporting technical information developed together. The supplied project materials include both equipment views and photographs identified as the customer site.

The filling arrangement needs to reflect the powder’s flow and the can’s opening, height and handling characteristics. Feeding connections, the position of the filling head and the transfer to downstream equipment belong in the same layout discussion. This is especially useful when a customer is evaluating a complete milk powder canning line rather than purchasing an isolated filler.
For dairy powder projects, cleaning access, product-contact requirements and the chosen closing method need to be defined before the line specification is finalized. If nitrogen flushing, residual oxygen control or a particular sealing process is requested, its equipment scope and test conditions must be agreed separately. Defining these requirements early allows the closing system and its acceptance checks to be specified together.
This case provides a reference for buyers who need to review the production arrangement as well as the machinery. Dingjiang’s role covers line planning and technical coordination around the packaging task. For a comparable project, capacity and filling tolerances are established with the actual powder and cans, so the proposed configuration can be compared against a defined operating requirement.
The closing and gas-handling scope must be specified for the project; it should not be inferred from the line name.
Review fill weight, powder behaviour, can size and the capacity of the downstream closing process together.
What can size and milk powder filling weight should your new line handle?
